We will not sell your personal information and will only share your personal information as necessary to provide the products and services requested or to notify you of our other products or services. Information Collected From You or Your Customers

This includes information you or your customers provide us when you or your customers apply for our products or request services, either on the Internet, by phone, or through other means. It may include information such as your or your customer’s name, address, residence information, telephone number, email address, surety bond or insurance application information, social security number, gender, educational background, date of birth, marital status, credit card number(s), bank account number(s), and bondexchange.com web pages visited. It also includes information from your or your customer’s communications with us such as letters, telephone calls, and emails.

Information We Collect From Third Parties

This includes information we collect from support organizations, such as consumer reporting agencies, regulatory agencies and other third parties. It includes information such as consumer credit information, information from regulatory agencies, including but not limited to license information, and demographic information. Information obtained from support organizations may be retained by such organizations and disclosed to other persons as permitted by law.

Information About Your Transactions

This includes information about your transactions with us and others, including our affiliates. It includes information such as your or your customer’s transaction history, coverage levels, claims history, and billing information.

Information We Disclose

The above-described types of personal and other types of information about you or your current, former, or potential customers, may be disclosed, but only as permitted or required by law, or as permitted or directed by you or your customers. We may disclose such information to affiliated and nonaffiliated insurance agencies, insurance companies, surety companies, reinsurance companies, and support organizations, such as consumer reporting agencies and government entities. We may also disclose information to nonaffiliated third parties that perform services or functions on our behalf including the marketing of our products or services. Further, we may also disclose information as necessary to effect, administer or enforce a transaction that you or your customers request or authorize. The following are examples of situations in which we may disclose information: We may provide your or your customer’s information to others whom we determine need such information to perform professional functions for us. These may include parties helping us with administrative services and consumer reporting agencies. We may supply information as required by search warrant, subpoena, or legal process, with state insurance departments, or other law enforcement or government authorities when required by law, or to protect our own legal interests in the event of suspected illegal or fraudulent activities. All of the nonaffiliated entities with which we may share your or your customer’s information are required to keep the information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which it was shared, except as otherwise permitted by law.

Communications

As a BX sub-producer, we will contact you or your customer regarding your customer’s surety bond and our products and services, such as billing notices, confirmations of changes, changes to our products, and other product specific communications. You and your customers may not unsubscribe from communications that relate to your or your customer’s primary usage of our service and products; and you and your customer agree to receive these if your customer makes a purchase.

Confidential and Secure Environment

We are strongly committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of your and your customer’s information against unauthorized access and disclosure. We use encryption technology to protect your and your customer’s information and only allow access to those with a “need to know” such information to serve you and your customer.
